New Sea

As the waves brushed across the wayward shore

The distance in my eyes sparked mysteries reprise

The beckoning callings of a far horizon

Beseeching me to reach the sea

Discovering frontiers before us

We travel forward, perchance to dream.

So we begin our journey drifting

Past illusions now remising

Lives we’ve come to know and honor

Sailing onward, expectations fodder

The hearts of man cannot restrain

The callings of the sea

Skies return now we see captured in time

New seas before us today

Glistening tidal burst ebbs on the shore
