Eric Charles

Eric started with computers in 1986 with a Mac PC. It had an extra floppy drive and Eric thought it was fantastic that he was able to copy programs and early graphic interface games onto floppys. It even had a modem interface. He was very content to perform word processing activities and graphics with the early paint program. By 1995 he switched to windows because he learned it was possible to record his music and his band with multiple high end sound cards and many traks for overdubbing. Because of the complexities of computer recording and the emerging status of the internet Eric became very accomplished at the home personal computer. He was constantly taking them apart and replacing and installing components and this led to building computers from scratch with barebones kits and from the motherboard up. It's amazing how being a home recording artist qualifies one to be a specialist in home computer service and repair as well as complicated programming chores. Eric has decided to put these skills to work in the capacity of home computer consulting and recording engineering for the benefit of others and public consumption.
